The Bryant Master of Science in Accounting provides accounting students with the distinct advantage of cutting-edge knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in today's competitive business environment.

The MSA degree can be completed in as little as two terms and provides the necessary 150 hours required for CPA licensure. Classes are delivered simultaneously in the classroom and online.

This is a full-time, 10-course program designed for accounting graduates.

What must my application include?

In addition to the application form, you will need to submit a statement of objectives, current resume, one accounting faculty recommendation, official transcripts from all colleges/universities you have attended, your official score on the GMAT, and your application fee (waived for Bryant alumni). Are there special requirements for international students?

A TOEFL score is required if your native language is not English or if you have not completed a degree from a program taught in English. In addition, your transcripts from colleges/universities outside the U.S. must be translated into English and converted to a 4.0 scale. Official documentation from an academic evaluation agency indicating that you have earned a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree is required. If you are seeking an I-20, you must submit a completed International Student Certification of Finances, I-20 application, or Sevis transfer form.

What is the tax concentration?

Designed for students who want to combine advanced accounting courses with additional courses in taxation. May be completed full-time in two semesters: Summer/Fall or Summer/Summer. Applicants must be (or about to become) a graduate of an accredited undergraduate accounting program. The four required tax courses are Individual Income Taxation; Sales, Exchanges and Other Dispositions; Corporations and Shareholders; and Partnership Income Tax Problems.

Financial and managerial accounting, two semesters of intermediate accounting, advanced financial accounting, taxation, accounting information systems, auditing, cost management/accounting

To be eligible for preferred consideration for a scholarship, you must apply by:

  • Fall intake: Submit a complete application by April 30.
  • Spring intake: Submit a complete application by November 30.
  • Summer intake: Submit a complete application by March 31.
