You may have online tutorials at certain times but these can also be recorded to listen to later. Online learning is ideal for learners who are in work and need the flexibility of online study. Distance: Various formats specific to programmes including block courses (on campus), local work placements, local tutorials and online learning. Work-based: Where problems or needs of your workplace become the focus of your research and learning – available in specific postgraduate programmes. Full-time: Requiring a time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week, similar to full-time work.
