About CEL

Our Mission: To develop and deliver innovative, transformative programming for learners of all ages and all backgrounds.

The University of New Brunswick has been providing continuing education programs since 1950. In 2002, UNB established the College of Extended Learning (UNB CEL), to provide continuing education and professional development to adult learners, as well as online programming for individuals within private and public organizations, locally, nationally and globally.

UNB CEL is committed to offering quality, relevant courses and programs, along with customized training solutions, and services that lead to personal and organizational growth and development. Through innovative partnerships, UNB CEL develops programs that contribute to the social, cultural, and economic development needs of Atlantic Canadians and beyond.

Our services cover the whole gamut, from analysis and planning to design and development, on to delivery and administration of lifelong learning opportunities for leisure, career and professional training, degree completion and online for credit programs.
