    On-Campus M.D. Programs in Medicine

Located on the banks of the Biała River, Bialystok is the largest city in northeastern Poland. Higher education in the city can be traced back to the eighteenth century. Now the city is home to one main city universities i.e. University of Białystok and two other public universities: Białystok Technical University and Medical University of Białystok.

Like many other EU countries, Poland offers inexpensive or even free tuition to EU students. Prospective students should apply directly to their chosen Polish institution. The University of Warsaw, for example, charges between £1,300 and £2,500 per year for its English language courses.

A Doctor of Medicine is a highly advanced degree that requires about six years of work. Many M.D. programs require a combination of classwork, research papers, and hands-on clinical practice to certify students as medical doctors.
