Introduction
The undergraduate study program Psychology is coordinated with the European Diploma in Psychology (EuroPsy) and is established on a competency-based approach to higher education. The study lasts six semesters (180 ECTS), and upon its completion, the graduates obtain the title University Baccalaureus of Psychology (univ. bacc. psych.). The classes are held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and other parts of the University of Split. The study is conducted entirely in English and prepares students for international scientific and professional communication from the very beginning. Scientists and teachers from Croatian universities and international institutions such as Yale University, Santa Fe Institute, Northeastern University, the University of Huddersfield, University West and Université de Poitiers participate in the study program. During their studies, students will learn about the different psychological disciplines and theoretical orientations, acquire research methodology skills, and obtain a basic knowledge of scientific disciplines that intersect with psychology (e.g., philosophy, anthropology, sociology). Upon completion of their studies, students can be employed in planning and conducting research, data collection and processing (market research, telecommunications, media, non-govermental organizations, etc.) or continue their education at the graduate level in the Republic of Croatia and EU countries.
