Introduction
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
Train specialized professionals in Visual Rehabilitation, with extensive knowledge in the sciences related to human visual function, which allows them to detect, diagnose, manage, and rehabilitate binocular vision abnormalities and visual perception deficiencies by applying the techniques and procedures to obtain better vision performance.

Program aimed at optometrists or similar with a bachelor's degree

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Professional degree of Bachelor of Optometry or equivalent
- Accredit EXANI III admission exam with a score of 1000 points, which may be presented at any Institution, for foreign applicants it does not apply.
- Exam of disciplinary knowledge that will be applied virtually.
- Administrative documentation requested by the School Control Department.
- Comprehension of texts in English, minimum score in EXANI III 1000 points.
- CVU in CONACYT format.
In addition to the above:
- Letter of commitment to complete the postgraduate study.
- Two letters of recommendation from research professors
- proof of work
- Presentation letter of academic, personal, and professional reasons to enter the program
- Personal interview before the postgraduate academic council virtually or in person.
PERMANENCE REQUIREMENTS
In order to guarantee the continuity of postgraduate studies, it will be necessary for the student to attend to the provisions of the General Teaching Regulations regarding academic and administrative aspects. Such as the participation in the platform in the different modules of the study plan according to what is established every semester, and in particular, comply with the activities specified in the corresponding programs.
The modules must be accredited in the ordinary period with a minimum grade of 7.0, and you will only have one opportunity in the extraordinary period to accredit it.
For their permanence, the delivery and presentation of significant progress of the professional project in the semester seminars is an essential requirement, since not accrediting this core part of the program will be cause for withdrawal, regardless of the grades obtained in the rest of the subjects.
DEGREE EARNING REQUIREMENTS
The student must meet the following requirements to obtain the Master's degree:
- Accredit the modules and academic activity indicated in the study plan and obtain a minimum general average of 8.0.
- Present and defend the thesis or practical work in a public, virtual or face-to-face exam and pass it. This exam must be submitted in a period of no more than 2.5 years or according to the quality indicators established for quality postgraduate courses at the national level.
- To obtain the Master's degree, the student will have to comply with the provisions of the current General Teaching Regulations.
