Introduction
This program is designed for individuals who have already earned an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree and are Registered Nurses (RN). If you do not have an ASN degree, you may apply for our ASN program at our Springfield campus or for our pre-licensure bachelor of science in nursing program on the Bolivar campus.
Designed with the working professional in mind, and easily accessible to current ASN students, the ACEN-accredited 34-hour RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree completion program on SBU's Springfield campus allows you to pursue a baccalaureate degree while advancing your skills as a professional nurse.
This nationwide RN to BSN program offers a flexible course sequence option, including a fully online curriculum and Practice Experiences that can be completed where you live. No onsite visits are required. Faculty are dedicated to helping you realize your professional goals while also balancing work and personal demands.
If you are a current ASN student in SBU's College of Health Professions, you have the option to accelerate your degree by taking up to two BSN courses per semester while concurrently enrolled in the ASN program. This flexibility is just one reason we are confident we offer one of the best BSN degree programs available. We encourage our students to achieve more while creating attainable resources to help make that happen.
