The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of the Medical University of Warsaw maintains its position as the best place to study dentistry in Poland. The English Dentistry Division opened in the academic year 2012/2013. The first graduates of the dentistry program in English obtained their DMD in 2018. As of 2019/2020, students will be taught and trained with world-class equipment in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry’s new modern University Dentistry Center located on Medical University of Warsaw’s main campus.

The Medical University of Warsaw offers a 5-year Dental Program to High School graduates. The program adapted to the EU standards provides more than 5000 hours of instruction and 300 ECTS.

The total duration of the 5-year dental program is 10 semesters (150 weeks) during which students have lectures, seminars, and practical classes. Upon completion of each year of studies, students are required to take a 4 -week summer practical training which is mandatory and included in the curriculum. Practical training can be completed in recognized institutions in the native countries of the students.

The Graduate obtains a DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree and receives a diploma recognized in many countries. The curriculum conforms to the European Union standards of dental programs. The graduate can continue their career at the Medical University of Warsaw both as a scientist or as a teacher.
