Introduction
The world of work experienced a significant transformation after the COVID-19 Pandemic, when many organisations realized that employee’s engagement and productivity are directly connected with their health, wellbeing and life satisfaction. When staff members fall sick frequently or experience intense stress and even burnout in their workplace, rates of absenteeism (missing work because one is ill) or presenteeism (coming to work sick) significantly increase, leading to negative consequences at the financial and productivity levels not only for employers, but also for the state.
The solution lies in building preventive measures that support health in the workplace, as well as, developing effective health and wellbeing interventions tailored to the needs of employees and congruent with the employer’s organisational culture.
Our Bachelor in Corporate Health Management and Well-being is a multidisciplinary programme that taps into the newest trends in the field of health and wellbeing.
