With this, the country is endowed with high-level specialists who carry out efficient and humanitarian work with their profession to fulfill a social and professional function according to the demands of our territory.
With the beginning of the direction chaired by Dr. Fause Attie from April 1, 1999, fundamental changes were implemented in the teaching system of the National Institute of Cardiology "Ignacio Chávez" in order to adapt the teaching systems to the time that the Institute is living, and thus catch up with the changes that have undergone dizzyingly in medicine in recent years. Since the beginning of the management of Dr. Marco A. Martínez Ríos, as General Director, these processes have been maintained and perfected, to keep the human resources training process updated.
