Career Opportunities
Successful completion of postgraduate fellowship/study in Anatomy, Histology, and Embryology enables work in this field, and also enables participation in clinical practice, for example in the research of cardiovascular system, apparatus of locomotion, or peritoneal membrane. Structural and biochemical analysis of extremity bones will be used for example for evaluation of bone fractures (in cooperation with the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Faculty Hospital in Pilsen). Scientific experiences/erudition of postgraduate students will enable their successful involvement in research planning and also in international research projects (for example the study of histology changes in abdominal aorta aneurysm specimens). Among specific features of this study belongs macro- and microanatomy including new methods (stereology methods - quantitative histology; immunohistochemistry and others).
