It is two years lasting follow-up master program.

Description of verification and evaluation criteria

Written tests include a multiple-choice test in Pharmaceutical Botany (10 questions), Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry (10 questions), Human Physiology and Pathophysiology (10 questions) Biochemistry, and Pathological Biochemistry (10 questions), and Analytical Chemistry (10 questions). The level of the English language will be tested by an English grammar test (20 questions).

In the final evaluation, the applicants will obtain points only for correct answers. They will get 1 point for each correct answer in Pharmaceutical Botany, Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry, Human Physiology and Pathophysiology, Biochemistry and Pathological Biochemistry, and Analytical Chemistry. They will get 0.5 points for each correct answer in the English language test. In case the applicant does not answer a certain question correctly or does not answer the question at all, the applicant will not lose the points deducted from the total score obtained for correct answers.

It is the responsibility and right of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy to set the threshold level of points required for admission with respect to the number of applicants and students´ capacity of the Faculty.

Admission to Master's studies is conditioned by completed secondary education confirmed by a school-leaving certificate. Admission to Post-Bachelor studies (Master's program) is likewise conditioned by completed education in any type of study program.

Admissions Option 2

Graduates of the Pharmaceutical Sciences study program are qualified specialists in various fields of pharmacy. They have theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of drugs and pharmaceuticals, drug discovery and development, and pharmaceutical analysis. They have knowledge of metabolism, mechanisms of drug effects, drug use rules, toxic effects, and evaluation of drug-related scientific data.
