A student of sports and exercise physiology may take courses in biochemistry, nutrition and conditioning. Studies may include a variety of coursework from hands on experimentation to lectures and reports. Assignments may include studying the response of an athlete’s body to stress or an individual unaccustomed to exercise.

Norway (Norge) is the westernmost, northernmost — and in fact the easternmost — of the three Scandinavian countries. Norway is well known for its amazing and varied scenery. The fjords in the west of the country are long narrow inlets, flanked on either side by tall mountains where the sea penetrates far inland. The ultimate responsibility for the education lies with the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research.

Students can select individual courses in accordance with their interests. Students may also structure a series of classes in a way that might achieve specific objectives such as improving job skills, pursuing new careers, or obtaining certificates or degrees.
