Spring semester in Nutritional Sciences

Objectives

Students will better understand the complex relationships between food chain, dietary habits, and human health as a consumer and public health issue. Coursework includes human physiology, nutrition, nutrigenomics and epidemiology with emphasis on European or Mediterranean nutrition and health.

Tuition

  • Erasmus+ students (from an Erasmus+ partner university): tuition waived
  • Exchange students (from a partner university/with a cooperation agreement): tuition waived
  • Other students: €3500+ €50 (non-refundable application fees) (field trip and campus fee are included in the program charges)

Fees (2015 - 2016)

  • Residence hall: €483/month for a single room, €260/month for a shared room
  • Campus Fee: €100/year (Erasmus+ and Exchange students)
  • Room insurance: €39/year
  • 3-day-Field trip in May: €250 (Erasmus+ and Exchange students)
  • Health insurance (compulsory for non-European students): ≈ €215/year
  • Catering: ≈ €3,20/meal (breakfast is free)
  • Transportation/bus: €8/month (monthly pass)
  • Equipment to bring: lab coat, laptop, plug adaptor

Admission requirements

Agriculture or Food sciences: juniors, seniors or Master degree students from an accredited institution. English: an advanced intermediate level is required: 785 TOEIC, 567TOEFL paper (or 227 TOEFL-CBT, 87 TOEFLibt), 6.5 IELTS.
