Thus far our pass rate is high on the medical licensing exams, which is equating into our graduates getting into competitive residencies (post-graduate training) in the United States, Canada, India and many other countries in the world
Avalon University has three start dates during the year - January, May and September. We offer a rolling admission, so students may apply at any three start dates.
We offer a 5 year Premed/MD program, and a 4 year M.D. program. For high school graduates or students who have not met the requirements for the 4 program would enter into our premedical program. For students who have completed the requirements during college/university would enter into our 4-year program. Our Premedical program is 16 months in length, and upon successful completion will guarantee them a spot into our 4 year MD program.
Once students complete the premedical and the basic sciences, they will soon after begin their clinical rotations. Avalon University has one of the strongest clinical science programs, and we have hospital affiliations in many cities across the United States.
Our goal is to make sure that all Avalon students are educated and trained to be competent and well qualified to practice medicine in the United States, Canada and anywhere in the world.
