The Pharmacy Assistantprogram provides students with the office, clerical and medical skills to offer the essential support required by Pharmacists.
Students will be trained in pharmacology, dispensing (community & hospital), inventory, billing and administration, as well as customer service skills. They will also receive First Aid and CPR training and certification.

· Applicants must possess a high school diploma or meet the requirements for mature student status;
· Applicants must successfully pass the Vancouver Career College Admissions Test with a minimum score of 7/13 on the quantitative analysis portion;
· Signature by student acknowledging that prior to practicum they will successfully complete a clear Criminal Record Search, obtain a physician’s note of good health, and a negative reaction to a test (“Practicum Policy Form”), and have a typing speed of at least 50 wpm (MOA practicum only). TB clearance must not exceed 12 months at the time of enrolment.
