The main theoretical aim is the formulation of generally valid rules, both at the cellular and organic level, as well as at the human, individual level. The biophysical and engineering methodological approach for solving tasks is supported by high-level knowledge of biological character. The research takes place at various distinct levels ranging from micro-biomechanics (cellular level) to living macro systems (e.g. biomechanics of humans). It is possible to encounter biomechanic applications in a wide range of sciences and professional activities.
