Starting from the premise that the current, increasingly complex and globalized economic, political and social situation poses a problem whose resolution requires deep technical and practical knowledge, knowledge of systems of professional management, enabling profitable resource utilization increasingly scarce is notorious and is reflected in three aspects set out in section.
Serving briefly to developments in the three main levels (academic, scientific and professional) registered health management as a result of the large number of different processes, although wirings each other, tending to review and analyze a changing reality to explain on it, we come to the conclusion that all this has occurred in response to very specific needs arising from specialization of scientific and professional work of health managers. The most significant examples can be highlighted labor economics, health economics, economics of education, economy, transport, etc.
The Master in Healthcare Management is an official title whose curriculum is published in the Official Gazette number 75 of 28 March 2012.
The Master in Healthcare Management is preferably aimed at graduates, graduates or graduates in:
- Business Studies.
- Business Management.
- Graduates in Health Sciences, with specific training in the field of economy and business.
However, those students who are not graduates or graduates in these qualifications may take a series of additional training called "Accessories Specific to the Healthcare Management" to lay the foundations of financial management. For these students, these training supplements are mandatory and can be made prior to the beginning of the Master or simultaneously the same way (see table training supplements in tab "Curriculum").
It is to develop in students whose university degrees are Branch of Health Sciences or Social Sciences and Law (except those with training in the field of economics or business), fundamental knowledge of business management to enable them subsequently understand, acquire and develop the skills of health management, based on a prior and optimal preparation that achieves each and every one of the powers set out in the Master.
Provide comprehensive training in the field of both public and private Health Management: control and management of both health care costs and hospital, marketing, HR, productivity and planning of health services and quality control, attention sociosanitary, risks of health personnel, types of health organizations, health management policy, strategic planning, operations research, computer processing of such management, etc.
Students who meet the requirements of UDIMA obtain the title of Master in Health Management taught by UDIMA, besides the title of Professional Master issued by the Center for Financial Studies.
UDIMA Requirements: Possess a bachelor's degree, college diploma or equivalent.
Presence, Blended and online
This program is taught in training mode Blended training. This system provides assistance to education classroom training during the development of the Master Program and access to the training platform compatible CEFMEDIA to-face training with distance learning via the Internet. It has sought to find a compatible schedule with work and follow-up Master program, although students anticipate that workload outside the classroom is important. The schedule includes the assistance of two days a month to our classrooms in Madrid. The methodology of classroom training is participatory, alternating theory with the execution of personal or group work, solving practical cases and exercises that allow students the assimilation of the contents at the same time enhance the knowledge and skills necessary for professional practice. They will be developed through the Virtual Campus and 7 weekends each semester in class sessions on Fridays from 16.30 to 21.30 pm and Saturdays from 9 to 14 h. Groups begin in October and February each year.
The Online Training It is based on a teaching system based on the training needs of students and new technologies, guaranteeing standards of educational quality. During the development of the training students have, through the learning platform of the CEF, the pedagogical advice of the faculty who teach classroom training, access to the Digital Library where you will find additional teaching materials, the possibility of participating in all complementary learning activities scheduled classroom training for teachers to develop the teaching and learning environment online, communication with classmates, etc.
