The Master of Science in Health Science (MSHS) degree program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) offers a 5-semester (20-month) capstone option or 6-semester (24-month) thesis option. This online graduate program is designed to enable working health professionals, such as strength coaches, personal trainers, certified athletic trainers, military personnel, and physical educators, to advance their career opportunities and educational goals. The MSHS program includes specialty tracks in Health & Wellness Coaching, Sport Performance, Rehabilitative Science, Healthcare Administration, and Healthcare Professions Education.
Prospective students should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and preference is given to individuals with two years of professional experience in exercise science, sport performance, healthcare, or occupational performance, as well as fitness professionals who hold licenses from a National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCAA) accredited organization (ACE, ACSM, IFPA, NASM, NATA, NCSF, NETA, NFPT, NSCA or Cooper Institute).
