Master of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine
The Florida College of Integrative Medicine (FCIM) offers a fast-paced three-year program that confers on successful graduates TWO prestigious degrees: a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Health Studies AND a Master of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine.
The combination of BSc and MSc only takes 3 years.
The Florida College of Integrative Medicine’s Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree program is a four-year program that only takes 36 months to complete in six 20-week semesters. The program offers fundamental classes and very unique advanced classes. Semesters begin in January and July of each year with breaks during the summer, winter and some holidays.
Our curriculum thoughtfully integrates the teachings and techniques of Oriental Medicine (also known as "Traditional Chinese Medicine" or "TCM") with the foundation of Western medical sciences to produce a knowledge base that is appropriate for the practice of Oriental Medicine in our increasingly multi-cultural and holistically-minded modern society.

Requirements for Admission
The minimum admission requirements for acceptance are a high school diploma and at least 60 semester hours of credit form an accredited college or university. Any student must be at least 18 years of age. The college credit must include at least 30 credits of general education or liberal arts courses which may include, but are not limited to, English, history, philosophy, literature, religion, art, music, sociology, foreign languages, humanities, mathematics, chemistry, biology, and psychology with a minimum overall GPA of 2.0. The college does not admit students under the "Ability to Benefit" criteria, meaning that a high school diploma and/or Certificate of High School Equivalency is required for all admitted students.
The Admissions Department receives, evaluates and processes all student applications. The primary function of the Admissions Committee is to review and advise student applicants to ensure that all academic requirements are met in order to enroll in the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program.
