In the classroom or online, our public health masters students are trained to understand the role of community empowerment, community mobilization, networks, and partnerships in the development of policies to help these affected populations.
Your Master of Public Health (MPH) degree will focus on the task of establishing the services and infrastructure necessary to address these identified problems, and enforcing the policies needed to solve them.
The Master of Public Health (MPH) is a 45-credit hour degree program and is designed to be completed in two years.
In addition to coursework, students are required to complete a 300-hour field practicum in a community, a public health facility, a government agency, or related setting.
The Master of Public Health (MPH) program offers students the opportunity to integrate core competencies in the five basic areas of public health, with specialized expertise in one of six program areas:
- Applied Public Health New ONLINE MPH
- Community Health
- Environmental Health Sciences
- Health Policy & Management
