The M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences: Infectious and Tropical Diseases offers you the opportunity to combine courses of different disciplines and research projects in leading laboratories and institutes. Moreover, optional courses in preclinical and clinical drug research facilitate career opportunities in clinical research organisations and biopharmaceutical industries, while optional courses in molecular and cellular biomedicine prepare for a career in dedicated research and development.
Courses and research are organised during 4 semesters. The research internship takes 6 weeks in a laboratory of your choice. The project proposal and the master’s research project and thesis last 7 months and are completed in one of the spearhead laboratories. In completing the research projects, you will gain practical experience in scientific research and learn to analyse data, write reports and give oral presentations. You will be encouraged to go abroad and complete your research work in part or entirely at a partner university....

It is a master of 120 ECTS credits. It consists of general subjects, specialised biomedical subjects, a research internship and a master’s dissertation.
