Our programme aims to improve your theoretical and practical knowledge of human anatomy through an intensive on-campus dissection course, as well as the development and learning of theoretical and practical aspects of teaching anatomy at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

This programme has two main strands. One is the in-depth study of the anatomy of the human body. Anatomical knowledge will be learned to a level to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and professions allied to medicine. This strand will involve the dissection of a body in groups of three to five students over two semesters. The modules presented emphasize clinically and surgically relevant anatomy, although they are not designed exclusively for clinicians, and applications are invited from any students who have studied cadaveric anatomy within their first degree.

We have also launched a blended learning approach to achieving a PgCert or PgDip in Clinical Anatomy for working doctors. This involves online learning plus a two-day residential course.

The MS Anatomy degree is structured for those who wish to enhance their eligibility for entry to professional schools. This is a 1-year, 32 credit hour, non-thesis program of study of cadaveric dissection-based gross anatomy, embryology, cell biology and histology, and neuroscience leading to a Master of Science degree in Anatomy. It is designed specifically for candidates who plan to attend medical school, or dental school, or enroll in other professional or advanced degree programs; it serves to improve credentials to compete for admission to a medical or dental school [+]

Admission Requirements: Applicants for admission to the MS in Anatomy program should have successfully completed the requirements for a baccalaureate degree. Admission is competitive and applicants should have a minimum of one of the following: GPA 3.0, MCAT 504 (28), DAT 16, GRE 310. Applicants from Australia should have a minimum GAMSAT of 57. A minimum score of 72 in the TOEFL examination is required for applicants from non-English-speaking nations.

Tuition: Full time tuition for the 2018-19 academic year is $26,500 to be paid on a two-semester basis. No tuition waivers are available for this program.
