A Master of Science degree, abbreviated MSc, is a graduate degree in the field of science. The coordinating programs are available through universities around the world and typically cover science-based subjects, such as engineering and mathematics. However, universities establish many of their own conventions, so some schools may include humanities or social sciences within their MSc programs.

What is an MSc in Allied Healthcare? This broad area of study covers a variety of specific topics, all lumped into the allied healthcare title. Examples of programs may include radiotherapy, medical imaging, biomedical science, hematology and primary care. Each program is unique and expands on the academic achievements completed during the previous years of university work. Some study topics could include statistics and qualitative research methods, atrial fibrillation management, immunohematology, adipose tissue activation in humans, advanced clinical practice requirements and general medical ultrasound practice.

Graduate students in allied healthcare may gain a number of life skills, such as basic good health practices and enhanced first aid.
