Nova Southeastern University's CCNE-accredited MSN program features a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) concentration designed for registered nurses who are ready for career advancement through continued education. It is delivered in a hybrid format that combines the flexibility and convenience of online learning with in-person classes that include hands-on lab simulations and clinical placements.
Students learn from doctoral-prepared faculty who are actively working as nurse practitioners and bring relevant field experience to the classroom. The curriculum is grounded in evidence-based practice and includes coursework in primary care for adults, women, and children.
You will gain the knowledge and skills you need to improve health outcomes for families and individuals throughout the lifespan. As you complete more than 500 clinical hours, you will develop the experience you need to become a nurse leader and health care expert.
When you graduate from the MSN - FNP program, you will be qualified to pursue licensure and begin primary care practice as a trained nurse practitioner in your community. In 2019, our students had a 98% pass rate for nurse practitioner licensure exams, so you can be confident your degree will prepare you for professional success.
