The studies of the program of Medicine are integrated, last for 6 years and consist of 54 subjects of general University education, fundamental and special medicine, which volume is 24 credits (or 360 ECTS credits). Starting with the second year all the subjects in the Faculty of Medicine are studied, according to the new problem-based learning model, when the studies are conducted following the theoretical and clinical models.

 

During the first half of the study program (3 years) the subjects of general University educations, basic humanitarian-social subjects are studied, which provide general University education, as well as subjects of fundamental and pre-clinical medicine (e.g., Anatomy, Human Histology and Embryology, Cytology and Parasitology, Genetics and Movement, Respiration, Blood Circulation and other models), which provide knowledge about body composition and function of healthy and ill person, necessary for further studies....
