Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, pharmacy and therapeutics, Toxicology, Ecotoxicology, Genetics, Microbiology and Immunology, Professional Ethics, Contagious diseases of animals, Applied cytology, Applied virology, Xenobiochemistry, Protection of the environment and public health, Basics of genetic engineering, Applied veterinary haematology, etc.

CLINICAL SCIENCES

(Lectures and seminars, clinical training, laboratory and desk-based work, non-clinical and clinical animal work)

The study also takes place at the university clinics on campus, special facilities, e.g. the University Farm, University Facility for Breeding and Diseases of Game, Fish and Bees and Equestrian Centre, University Veterinary Hospital, other university facilities including the Cynological Club DARCO, Aqua Terra Club, Institute for Scientific Information and Library, etc.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Full Secondary Education or Full Specialised Secondary Education qualification entitling for higher education study, attested by a certificate.
  • Written entrance exam in Biology and Chemistry – applicable for the 6-year course (books of Q&A for entrance exams preparation available for online purchase on the UVMP website).
  • Completion of the First Level of Higher Education studies (Bachelor degree in Veterinary or Animal Sciences, Biosciences or related sciences) - applicable for the 4-year course.
