Program Description

The Physiotherapist provides medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Its know-how applies from postoperative or post-traumatic rehabilitation to a wide variety of pathologies such as neurological disorders, paralysis, respiratory, circulatory or rheumatic diseases, sports injuries or accidents related to life.

The Physiotherapist can also intervene without a medical prescription to practice specific massages to treat a torticollis, a backache or provide practical advice on postural behavior.

Most physiotherapists work as liberals in their own offices.

They can work as full-time employees in public sector hospitals or private structures, or on a regular basis in various institutions such as:

  • Sports associations as physical trainer or physiotherapist

Conditions of admission

  • In the first year of a Bachelor's degree, students with a bachelor's degree or a diploma recognized as equivalent are admitted.
  • Are admitted in the second or third year of the license, the students having respectively succeeded one or two years of higher studies in the same specialty or in related specialties.
  • Admission in the 3rd year is also done on file with the holders of a diploma of higher technician (DEST, DUT) or a diploma sanctioning studies undergraduate (DEUPC) in the specialty or in related specialties.
