This study route also provides the greatest flexibility for accreditation of prior learning from ‘smaller’ units of learning. The course offers a broad range of specialist modules covering the practical skills and knowledge for professional practice. It also covers the theoretical framework through the study of research methods, clinical examination skills, leadership skills and legal, ethical and professional issues that are key transferable knowledge and skills to enable work both in Acute and Community Care.
