Application Checklist
  • Complete Colby-Sawyer’s First-Year Application or the Common Application
  • Official high school transcript
  • Nursing essay and general admission essay
  • SAT, ACT or TEAS* (Test of Essential Academic Skills). Colby-Sawyer offers the TEAS at the campus testing center.


Academic Checklist
  • Minimum GPA 3.3 in college prep coursework
  • College prep English: four years
  • College prep math: three years, including algebra I
  • College prep laboratory-based science: three years
  • College prep social studies or history: three years

Colby-Sawyer is a dynamic and innovative liberal arts and sciences college located in the scenic Lake Sunapee Region of central New Hampshire. During their college careers, 100 percent of our students participate in one or more internships in their fields of study. They also create Learning Portfolios, in which they demonstrate their ongoing progress and achievement. All of our students conclude their senior year with a Capstone project, in which they develop and demonstrate a deeper body of knowledge in their academic major. Read less
