The Problem-Based Learning (PBL - Problem Based Learning) enables interdisciplinary and comprehensive approach to health conditions of the population, emphasizing the humanistic attitude and ethic on the profession and the patient, within the reality of the Unified Health System of Brazil (SUS) . From the beginning, the student is encouraged to develop clinical reasoning and learn to make decisions based on scientific evidence. New opportunities. The traditionally liberal character of medicine has changed significantly in recent times in Brazil. The Medical School brings together highly qualified faculty, infrastructure on a different campus (Campus UNICID ¿Pines), designed exclusively to meet all the needs required by the course, and laboratories equipped with the latest technology devices. Among its key differentiators is the newest and advanced Simulated Hospital, where the UNICID pioneered, allowing international certification. It is an advanced realistic simulation training center developed in high-fidelity rooms. The simulators / robots are the latest generation in the market, having complex software, the only ones that work with wireless, allowing full mobility for different environments. These high-fidelity simulators are organized in three beds in a ward and two emergency rooms, one of which focused on the care of pregnant women and childbirth, including having a neonatal resuscitation unit. In addition to the Simulated Hospital, the course has two spaces for Medical Skills Training, one of which has 20 offices for performing OSCE (Objective structured clinical examination). These other areas have several mannequins and simulators that allow through monitored practices, the training of essential medical skills to the exercise of profissão.O Morphological Laboratory, which now features twice the floor space has more fields of study, among others. In addition, the UNICID Medicine has a modern and advanced Surgical Technique Laboratory and Functional Practices Laboratory both coupled to qualified research laboratories, which allows teachers and students to develop high quality scientific research. Not to mention the exclusive course and the two computer labs Library. All designed to enable students to arrive more prepared for the practical activities. Still, the UNICID Medicine's Global Health Learning member oportunities ¿GHLO, a consortium created by the American Association of Medical Colleges. This is an educational exchange program in health care, which includes American medical universities, among others in various locations in the world.
