What is an Associate of Science in Physiotherapy? This program trains students to work with professionals and treat patients with an individualized care plan. Students will often learn how to carry out care plans through maneuvering patient bodies, stretching, massaging, functional training and physical modalities to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, prevent disability and restore function. Learning is both theoretical and clinical to gain hands-on skills and knowledge of best practices. Studies also include building understanding of fitness and wellness programs and exercise regimens to assist in patient care.
By obtaining an Associate of Science in Physiotherapy, graduates will have the knowledge and skills necessary to work in a field that is dedicated to helping others and is growing in need. Student will have the opportunity to take specific certification exams and qualify for a wide range of jobs.
