At CPHS we are committed to preparing students to excel in the expanding world of health care. The college offers unique dual degree programs, service-minded education and personalized training. These dual degree programs include two dual degrees offered with the MS in Clinical Research program: Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Pharmacy. By earning one of these degrees with the MSCR program, students have the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills, better comprehend health care needs and enhance their careers.

Master of Science in Clinical Research Online

The Online MS in Clinical Research (MSCR) degree is designed to expand students understanding of clinical research including drug development and clinical trials. [+]

The Master of Science in Clinical Research (MSCR) degree is an online program: Designed to educate students in literature evaluation, study design, research methodologies, data management, and statistical analysis and interpretation. Offers the same intensity and quality of face-to-face classes, but without the time and travel constraints of a traditional classroom. Allows students to excel academically as well as professionally in the exciting and growing field of clinical research Specifically designed to enhance interaction between peers, faculty and industry professionals Culminates with a research project based on the students’ therapeutic interest. Students may work independently or collaborate with another MSCR student. The faculty serve as research project advisors throughout the entire research project experience Prepares graduates to enter the field in positions including data managers, medical writers, clinical research monitors, study coordinators, regulatory affairs specialists, Institutional Review Board (IRB) administrators and project specialists. In addition, many graduates pursue professional degrees within the medical and health sciences fields Can benefit students in all walks of life, ranging from working professionals, students in other professional educational programs, as well as individuals desiring to enhance their employment opportunities. This program is completely online with no residency required; therefore, international applicants are not eligible to receive U.S. student visas. The online classes in the MSCR program: Are specifically designed for collaboration and interaction with peers and faculty. Will host a variety of both interactive and independent learning formats so as to best meet the varied learning needs of our students. Examples of collaborative formats include group projects, discussion boards, presentations, synchronous class sessions, webinars with guest speakers, real-time access to students and faculty via online classrooms or chat rooms, and peer review of assignments. In addition, collaborative methods are supplemented with independent assignments, such as readings, videos, individual assignments, self-assessments, quizzes, exams and tutorials Utilize online sessions where professors are able to hold quizzes and surveys in real time to evaluate student’s knowledge and comfort levels with covered topics. Online sessions can be recorded and later viewed by students unable to attend live. Allow students to have the ability to work collaboratively in real time in virtual meeting rooms any time; day or night, without professor involvement.
