Founders

Frank Gerencser, Chief Executive Officer

Frank Gerencser is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of triOS College Business Technology Healthcare. Frank is a leader in the Career College sector, serving as past President of the Ontario Association of Career Colleges and member of the National Association of Career Colleges as well as co-chairing influential committees on Employment, Distance Education, International promotion and more. Frank has a degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Stuart Bentley, President and Chief Operating Officer

Stuart Bentley is the President and Chief Operating Officer of triOS College. He has served on various Microsoft Corporation and CompTIA Learning Advisory Councils and Focus Groups as well as on a number of private and public company’s board of directors, including AME Learning Inc. In addition, Stuart is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University.

The purpose of the program is to prepare students with the necessary skills and academic knowledge for entry-level positions in retail pharmacies, as well as pharmaceutical companies. This program provides an overview of the theory, principles and practices of the Pharmacy Assistant. [+]

The purpose of the program is to prepare students with the necessary skills and academic knowledge for entry-level positions in retail pharmacies, as well as pharmaceutical companies. This program provides an overview of the theory, principles and practices of the Pharmacy Assistant. Areas of study include accurately and safely processing prescriptions, pharmacy software practice, proper extemporaneous compounding techniques, controlling inventory, keeping accurate and confidential records, third party billing, acting within relevant legislation, and effectively communicating verbally and in writing. Graduates will be prepared to work as members of an interdependent health-care team. Graduates should find employment opportunities in retail pharmacies and other environments such as mail order pharmacies, home care, patient education, and various other positions within pharmaceutical companies. Students recieve: 6 week internship! Graduates of the triOS Pharmacy Assistant program may work for Pharmacists in retail pharmacies, home healthcare divisions/companies, insurance companies, institutional settings and pharmaceutical distribution wholesalers/manufacturers. Employment of Pharmacy Assistants is expected to grow due to the increased pharmaceutical needs of a larger and older population, and to the greater use of medication. With advances in science, more medications are becoming available to treat more conditions. The increased numbers of middle-aged and elderly people – who, on average, use more prescription drugs than do younger people – will spur demand for assistants. Note: Some career and education options may require advanced degrees, further training or experience.
