Objective(s) of a study programme
The aim of the study prigramme is to train high qualified physical therapist who is able to examine and evaluate person's functional and physical condition, treat with the movement, manual and physical actions, compensate disability, assure health care and prevention, promote and educate the healthy living.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements
Studies are executed and the students' achievements are assessed using the ten-grade criterion assessment system. Study subjects are finished with an examination or project work depending on the learning outcomes of the study programme.
The learning outcomes assessment has the following elements: knowledge, understanding, abilities assessment. The assessment is predicated on validity, openness, usefulness, impartiality.
In order to ensure transparency of the assessment system, students are familiarized with the assessment system of their achievements at the beginning of each subject studies according to the description of the subject.
In the very beginning of the each study programme, a teacher determinates and informs students about an impact of every cumulative part (in percents) for final assessment and formulas criteria for interim task's assessment.
