As our population ages, there are few careers as important – or fast growing – as health care. You will learn to become the linchpin in the success of a complex and vital organization, gaining the skills necessary to help medical practices thrive. You are a team leader, the liaison between doctors and the patients, ensuring they get the care they need.
This 8-month (2 semester) Certificate program prepares you to manage the flow of electronic and paper-based information in a medical office setting. You may find employment in medical offices and clinics, hospitals, health and chiropractic centres, insurance agencies, and private businesses.
Over 90% of our graduates have found employment. Job opportunities for program graduates are significant regardless of age. Employers seek candidates who demonstrate maturity, strong interpersonal skills, reliability, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
