Master of Clinical Chiropractic

RMIT University

Master of Clinical Chiropractic

This program is designed for students articulating from the Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic).

It will provide you with professional chiropractic qualifications, allowing you to apply for registration.

You'll gain high-level assessment and psychomotor skills, integrating diagnosis and management with the clinical sciences.

You will do supervised patient care in our teaching clinics, and in external clinics that have been approved for mentored practice-integrated learning.

Learning and teaching

Classes are taught in a combination of lecture, seminar, tutorial, workshop, practical and laboratory sessions.

All courses have strong online support. The Research and Scholarship Portfolio (which is part of every course) is an innovative way of helping students learn and apply critical thinking through all areas of their scholarship.

RMIT offers a variety of learning and teaching approaches including lectures, seminars, studios, workshops, presentations, group discussions and syndicate work. These are primarily in English. You will have access to online resources through the myRMIT student portal.

Ongoing assessment throughout the semester includes examinations, essays, reports, oral classes, presentations, group projects, research projects, laboratory projects and practical assignments.

Program structure

Your assessment will vary course to course. Traditional methods of essays, examinations and presentations are used in some courses.

You'll also develop an individual Research and Scholarship Portfolio, and there'll be assessment by external members of the profession, in structured clinical practicum examinations.
