As our population ages, few careers are as important – or fast growing – as health care. As a Hospital Unit Clerk, you will keep the system running smoothly, which is vital to the successful treatment of patients. As part of a team of medical professionals operating in a dynamic environment, you’ll find very few careers as fulfilling.
This 8-month (2 semester) Certificate program prepares you to manage information in a hospital nursing unit. You will learn about basic human needs, hospital organization, medical terminology, processing medical orders, communication skills, and basic computer skills.
