ORGANISATION OF PROGRAM
BASIC SUBJECTS (Laboratory and desk based work, lectures and seminars) Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Animal and Plant), Biomathematics, etc.
BASIC SCIENCES (Lectures and self directed learning, laboratory and desk based work, non-clinical animal work) Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Genetics, Microbiology, Immunology, etc.
CLINICAL SCIENCES (Lectures and seminars, clinical training, laboratory and desk based work, non-clinical animal work) Pathology, Parasitology, Clinical medicine and surgery, Preventive veterinary medicine, Propaedeutics, Obstetrics, Veterinary legislation, State veterinary medicine, Diagnostic imaging, etc.
ANIMAL PRODUCTION (Lectures and seminars, laboratory and desk based work, non-clinical animal work) Animal production, Animal nutrition, Animal husbandry, Veterinary hygiene, etc.
FOOD HYGIENE / PUBLIC HEALTH (Lectures and seminars, non-clinical animal work , laboratory and desk based work) Food hygiene and technology, Food science, Inspection of foodstuffs, etc.
The study also takes place at the university special facilities, e.g. the University Farm, University Facility for Breeding and Diseases of Wild Living Animals, Fish and Bees and Equestrian Centre. Other university facilities include the Cynology Club, Aqua Terra Club and Institute for Scientific Information and Library.
