OPPORTUNITY ABOUNDS HEALTH CARE BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS CLUB Health Care Business Professionals Club (HBPC), is open to any student on campus who wants a better understanding of the health care industry (with an emphasis on the pharmaceutical industry) and its impact on our society. The group’s main purpose is to provide networking and learning opportunities for students interested in working in the health care field. Although not affiliated with a national organization, HBPC members create signature activities on ONU’s campus. Each winter, the club gathers donations and toys to make Christmas a little brighter for sick children at St. Rita’s Hospital in Lima, Ohio. And in the spring, the club hosts Polar RX, a prescription drug-abuse awareness event. INTERNSHIPS Your internship gives you a chance to work in the field and build your résumé. We connect you with an internship that matches your interests and career aspirations. While many students intern in Ohio, others choose to complete an internship in another state or even internationally. Most internships are paid, and many result in offers of full-time employment upon graduation.
