Biomedical Informatics A Technician in Biomedical Informatics is a trained professional that can work in health institutions in the public and private sector. These professionals will design information systems linked to the decision making applying national and international health standards for coding, imaging, supply, and system development, among others. These professionals can also advise on the development of health information applications and computing architecture. Likewise, they can serve in consulting and project implementation organizations related to health issues as process analyst, project manager, planning and implementing of health systems. Thoroughly research your prospective courses. Most of our programs are in Spanish; therefore make sure you have sufficient proficiency in this language for your classes. We do offer a free 44 hour Spanish course for all non-native Spanish speakers, but in order to successfully complete your courses we advise at least an intermediate Spanish level.
