Program Description

BA in Health Management

bbw University of Applied Sciences

BA in Health Management

In the last few years, the health services sector has become Germany's biggest employer. It is projected that between 200,000 and 400,000 new jobs will be created in this industry by 2030, many of these in the private health sector. Where in the past medical diagnosis and treatment was the focus, today financial and legal factors are a routine part of daily practice. The internationally recognized Bachelor of Arts qualification in health management enables the acquired knowledge to be combined with professional and practical experience that qualify for demanding positions e.g. for the management of hospitals and clinics. In future, health sector employees will increasingly require business management expertise in addition to medical knowledge.

The bbw University of Applied Sciences is a partner of the "Research for our Health” initiative from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research for the fiscal year 2011.
